If only I had seen this video yesterday when I was trying to answer 4-across in my crossword puzzle--a skewer used in roasting! I didn't know it was called a spit until Google helped me find the answer. Apparently my trusty Christian come jew friend knew the answer, too! Must have been that romantic dinner at Connor Prairie...
