Fast Times on the Farm

I insisted that Steve let me drive the tractor today to TRY to bring this little baby boy into the world but....even after an hour of mowing the bumpy yard...no baby. Zilch. Oh well. Least the yard got mowed!
Madeline wants two things right now - 1) To be with Daddy as much as possible 2) To be outside as much as possible. So they have been making the most of the nice weather of late and have been spending LOTS of time together outside. It gives mommy a chance to recoup - as I have NO energy these days, and tires Madeline out right before bed which doesn't hurt anything! Daddy got the idea to hook Madeline's wagon up to the big tractor and she couldn't have been more thrilled! They rode around all over the yard for quite a while. (And no worries the exhaust doesn't come out the back!) They also flew a kite, watered flowers, planted grass, took scooter rides, visited "Crabbie" at the creek, walked down to see the miniature ponies, went to the post office, and took Austin on a walk!
We finished up our weekend with a cookout with the neighbors which we all enjoyed. Madeline drove around the backyard in her PowerWheels Ford F150 and enjoyed swinging in the hammock.
No idea when babyboy is going to make his entrace - every time I feel like it's just around the corner, it changes ... I've just decided to accept that he'll come when he comes and there's not much I can do to control it. Sigh.
